Liberty Day

As usual, we went to Columbiana to celebrate Liberty Day, which is the last Saturday before the 4th of July. It’s a big deal in town and there’s a big cookout at the Rush house.

The line for food was longer than a ride at Six Flags.

The activities get more over the top each year. Next year I expect helicopter rides and a dunk tank.

Grammy showed Gwynn that there were even bigger animals to look at outside.

I like this picture because it looks like she’s picking her teeth with a toothpick.

Some people toast glasses. Gwynn toasts silverware, or in this case, plasticware.

More watermelon.

Grammy fed Luke. Apparently he ate an entire rack of ribs himself.

A cookout isn’t complete without some homemade ice cream.

Luke loves homemade ice cream. But then again, don’t we all?
