Halloween 2014

This year was the first time both kids could really trick or treat. Last year Luke could walk, but he wasn’t ready to full on trick or treat.

This year Luke went as his favorite superhero: Spiderman.

Luke is a bit shy, but when candy is involved he can overcome it.

Playground

Grandma and Pop decided to take the kids to a park while they were in Tuscaloosa. As expected, the kids loved it.

Pop didn’t necessarily love having to pick the kids up over his head though.

Tennessee Game!

Thanks to Jeff’s dad we were able to make our first trip to Tennessee to see Alabama play the Volunteers. We hope to make a trip to each SEC stadium at some point. Since it was a late game we decided to drive up Saturday morning and then stay the night somewhere outside of Knoxville and come back Sunday morning.

Since the game is in late October the trees were changing colors. In Birmingham we weren’t quite so deep into fall.

Neyland Stadium isn’t as nice as Bryant-Denny. It looked like several courses were taught in the building attached to the stadium. It looked kind of weird.

The outside of the stadium has a beautiful backdrop with hills and a river.

Bama won the game 34-20 (after being up 27-0) to win the 8th straight game against the Vols. Roll Tide.
