Decoration Day

We made our annual trip to Mississippi to visit "the church in the middle of nowhere"

These kids love hotels.

They also love ice cream bars.

Last day of school

Today was a bittersweet day for us - our last day of daycare for Luke.

We are so fortunate to have had such a great experience with Mrs. Christy.

Luke and his best buddy Troy.

5k in Pinson

Daddy was able to talk Gwynn into running a 5k to benefit Daddy's school.

Luke is not a runner.

While Daddy and Gwynn ran Luke got a treat.

Heading to the finish.

She won first place in her division!

Daddy won an award too!

Building Projects

Grandma and Pop helped the kids with some projects they picked up.

Mother's Day Tea

Gwynn's class hosted a Mother's Day Tea. Her teacher said we COULD NOT miss this and I'm so glad I was able to go!

The kids sang Mother's Day songs...
served Mother's Day snacks...
and displayed their Mother's Day crafts!

Each student went to the microphone and shared their Mother's Day letter. There were SO MANY TEARS! It was precious...

Gwynn's sweet teacher, Mrs. Hall.

Camping with AHG

Our first camping experience with the kids was a hit!! We all had the best time and can't wait to go back!

Luke prefers "deconstructed" s'mores instead of all-put-together s'mores. Mommy ended up eating this one.

Gwynn was proud of her campfire snack...
