Disney World Food

One of the things we enjoyed about Disney World was the food. While they offer a meal plan, we decided not to use it because we figured we’d be able to eat plenty and not spend the $400 the meal plan cost. We were close, but under the $400. If we really wanted to we could spent a lot less money by eating food we brought ourselves. Maybe next time.

My favorite food memory from Disney is the Mickey ice cream bar. Sure you can buy them at the store, but eating them in the park brought back some nice memories.

Kristen’s first time eating this tasty treat.

Kristen got some fruity drink at our dinner in Italy at EPCOT. Sort of an alcoholic snow cone. I’m told it was good.

This was the freshest tasting pizza I’ve ever had. Very good. It’s the second best pizza I’ve had after authentic Chicago style pizza from Chicago.

We had a dessert that was some of a fancy version of a donut hole. Very good. It had chocolate sauce and whipped cream with it. Mmmm!

We ate at nice sit down restaurants three times at WDW. The other times we had counter service. Sometimes we’d share a meal, other times we’d get our own.

We ate breakfast twice at our resort. I had to order these waffles and felt a little silly. They were off the kids menu.

My mom wanted to make sure we ate at the Coral Reef. Neither of us like seafood, but luckily they had chicken and steak, so that’s what got. It was a very good steak and Kristen’s food was pretty good as well.

More interesting looking adult beverages.

The waitress was nice enough to take our picture.

This was Kristen’s favorite dessert. She has a soft spot for chocolate melting cake.

It even congratulated us on our anniversary.
