Air Show

We made another trip to the Tuscaloosa air show to see the Blue Angels, but this time it was a little different. It cost money and we paid a little extra for an “air square”. We still got to ride a school bus to the airport, which the kids usually like.

We had our own place to sit that was reserved, it was quite fancy.

It was hard to find water to drink at the air show, they mostly sold Mountain Dew and 5 hour energy.

Pre-Air Show Viewing Party

We had tickets for the Air Show in Tuscaloosa for Sunday, but Grandma’s friend, Ms. Jodie, lives really close to the airport so we decided to go to her house to watch the planes.

Gwynn and Daddy spent most of the afternoon in Ms. Jodie’s house, due to the noise and temperature. We had a great time watching all the planes!

Another party for Grace!

Grace got to have another fun day with family on her actual birthday! We went to Skates 280, then dinner at the Village Tavern.

Happy Birthday Grace

Gwynn and Luke’s cousin Grace had a big girl spend-the-night party at her house for her 9th birthday. Gwynn and Mommy came for the beginning of the party, but didn’t stay for the spend-the-night part…that was only for the big girls!

New Playground!

The best part about our neighborhood is the new playground that’s within walking distance to our house.

Luke and Gwynn made a trip to the dentist with Mommy. They had cars to sit in to watch a movie while we waited.

Gwynn liked comparing her hand to the ones on the wall. The kids got to do their handprints too, but Luke refused. They said we can try again with him next time…

Dinner at Lloyd’s

We all met Mimi at Lloyd’s for dinner. Mimi loves Lloyd’s.

The best part is the after dinner candy!

Tuscaloosa

We made another trip to T-town, this time cousins visited too.

Here Pop shows Luke and Gwynn the importance of following through on a putt that you’re sending through a glass window.

Gwynn and Luke loved helping Mommy clean grapes. Then they ate the whole bowl…seriously.

Grandma and Pop put their crib away and Pop made Luke a big boy bed!
