CHOM

While Mommy and Daddy were moving Grandma and Pop had the kids (and cousins) in Tuscaloosa. One day they decided to take the kids to the Children’s Hands on Museum (CHOM).

Moving

The moving truck comes = we’re really moving.

IMG_0170

The cleanest the house has been since we moved in.

Everything looks bigger when its empty.

One of the best things about the old house was the huge living room.

IMG_0178

IMG_0179

I wish we had kept the floors this clean while we lived here.

IMG_0180

Selling our home was more complicated than we had hoped. We were supposed to close mid-afternoon on Friday but the paperwork was messed up and we thought we wouldn’t be able to close. Luckily the paperwork came in and we were able to close (almost 2 hours late).

IMG_0187

We had a gap of 2 days between moving out of our old house and into our new house so we spent the time in Tuscaloosa. Luke didn’t mind.

IMG_0190

Gwynn was very excited about Taco Casa (though who wouldn’t be?)

IMG_0193

Our first night in the house was sans beds so we had to improvise.

In all, it was worth it!

Memorial Day Picnic

We made our annual Memorial Day trip to Tuscaloosa for the Goodrich family fun day. There’s free food, games and bouncy houses.

Luke enjoying some food. He probably ate 3 whole watermelons.

Eventually Daddy had to step in and win the big prize for Luke.

IMG_0142

Grandma had a bum knee so she manned the prizes we won.

IMG_0143

Cotton Candy is one of Luke’s favorites.

IMG_0153

He also enjoys popcorn.

IMG_0156

Gwynn too.

IMG_0160

Sitting with Grandma is even better than popcorn.
