Gwynn was baptized this Sunday. Her Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Jeremy were her Godparents. Father Joe Culotta presided over the ceremony which took place during the 10:30am Mass at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Father Joe also baptized Daddy back in 2008. Gwynn wore the gown that Mommy and Aunt Jennifer wore when they were baptized! She looked like a little angel.
Aunt Jennifer got Gwynn a beautiful bib and white blanket for the occasion.
Gwynn did an excellent job. She didn’t even cry when Father Joe poured the water on her head. She got that from her Daddy because he didn’t cry during his baptism either (granted, I was 25 at the time, but still – that water was cold).
After the baptism we had lunch at our house with several guests including Gwynn’s cousins Grace and Kate.
Thank you to everyone that shared in this special day…by being present at the baptism or just praying for us! We are so happy that Gwynn will be supported in her faith by such wonderful Godparents and friends and family!
