Stadium Tour

On Monday we had a tour of Bryant-Denny Stadium scheduled. But first we had to get a late breakfast at  City Café.

Gwynn was very excited.

Luke was also excited, but you wouldn’t know it from this picture.

We finally made it in and went up to the fancy part of the stadium they show off to visitors that are much more important than us.

Bama themed Christmas tree.

Luke and Daddy.

This area is open for more than just pregame activities. Saban’s daughter had her wedding reception in here.

We got to visit the president’s skybox. It is, uh, really nice.

We also visited the press box. Here I tell Luke about all the times Vern Lundquist mispronounced a Bama player's name.

The press box is fairly spartan, but the tour guide said it’s not as if anyone in the press wouldn’t show up.

We made our way down to the ground level and got to see the visitor’s locker room, named after a Mr. Fail.

Posing in the press area.

This guy is everywhere.

Daddy had done a tour years ago and things were nice then, but now they’re even nicer. The locker room is A+.

They’ll auction this off in the future for big $$$. I think they sold the old one for over $10,000.

Each locker is numbered and if that particular number was an All-American it’s listed.

I love how the last thing on the pre-game routine is “Go kick chso ASS”. The team was playing Charleston Southern and they did. Badly.

Heading through the same area the team does pre-game.

Niiiiice.

Daddy pointing out where Aunt Jen’s seats are.

Everywhere.

One last shot before heading out.

Luke was a bit cranky.

Daddy made his first trip to Rama Jama’s. The owner is selling it so who knows how long it’ll be around.
