We had a super-fun (is that sarcasm?) soccer season with Luke this fall.
Here is Luke on the way to soccer – he can barely contain his excitement.
Sometimes he would be happy – like here when he got a treat after a game.
Here he is early in the year actually playing and getting after it.
Here’s Luke definitely NOT getting after it.
Being silly on the sidelines.
I don’t think he’s got a future in soccer. Maybe he could be a mascot.
Sort of doing something soccer related. Sort of.
Luke caught in the goal while a teammate looks at him and wonders what in the world he’s doing.Gwynn enjoyed bringing her mini-tailgate chair to the game and watching Luke.
Luke and Daddy.
Taking a team picture of 3 and 4 year olds is about as successful as herding cats. Cats that are on fire.
This is definitely not a drill we did at any point in practice.
If you see this and think Luke is sitting and listening to Coach-Daddy you’re wrong. He’s staring longingly at the ice cream truck.
Coach Daddy trying to instruct the team while Luke does his best to disrupt things.
When it was all said and done Luke got a participation trophy.
