We made a trip over the Old Baker Farm Saturday afternoon. It’s only about a 20 minute drive from us and some other folks decided to come too.
Cousins Kate and Grace
Aunt Jennifer
Grandma and Pop
Of course we had to get our picture too. Little did we know there would be many more photo ops.
FFA here we come!
Gwynn? Not so much.
A corn maze. Or, a maize maze if you will…
We may have been lost but you know… we found something more important than the exit. We found out the meaning of family.
They had a hay maze as well. Luke liked it a little more.
Gwynn tentatively touching the rabbit.
That’s a lot of pumpkins but Luke ate every one.
Luke didn’t get the memo to smile at the camera.
Almost to the pumpkin patch.
Sunflowers!
Luke’s reaction when we told him he’d have to carry his own pumpkin.
“Oooh, I want that one and that one and that one. Oh! And definitely those too!”
“Let’s try over there”
Luke is a lot easier to carry on daddy’s shoulders.
Guarding our pumpkin stash.
“Where is everyone?”
Trying to figure out who got what pumpkin.
“Dis one iz mine”
“Are you taking a picture?”
This hat will be wildly outdated by the time Luke is old enough to attend Alabama.
A hay stack. I heard they had a needle in there but I never could find it.
Queens of the stack.
Old Baker Farm was quite a treat – we’ll have to make it an annual trip.
