Luke’s Arrival

We were so fortunate to have Jeff’s mom (Grammy) ready and willing to watch Gwynn while we went to the hospital to have Luke. They would come by the hospital to visit and Gwynn always looked like she was having the best time with her Grammy!
I was induced at 6:30 am on Monday morning, by 12:00 pm Luke was here! The only issue during the delivery was that the first epidural didn’t take.  After about an hour of feeling contractions the anesthesiologist came back and gave me another  epidural.  This one started working immediately (thank goodness).  Everything was a breeze from there.
