Aunt Jennifer was able to fly in from Oklahoma for the week and Aunt Connie drove down from Pennsylvania for a few days. It was so nice to get to spend time with them both!
Mommy’s cousin BJ and his family were also on Gwynn’s Island for the week, so we got to hang out with them on the trip too. Gwynn loved playing with her new friend, Jax (he’s eight months old and bigger than Gwynn!).
Daddy, Aunt Jennifer, and Pop were fishing on the dock (Daddy catching mostly crabs).
Mommy, Grandma, and cousins were having fun playing in the shade.
Little genealogy lesson – since Jax and Gwynn’s parents are first cousins that makes them second cousins. Jax and Mommy are first cousins once removed.
Gwynn also loved playing with Uncle Bill’s dog…although I don’t think she ever worked up enough courage to actually touch the dog!
We also got to visit with Mommy’s cousin Jeri and her family.
Daddy enjoyed hula hooping, but it was quite a workout wasn’t that hard for him.

Gwynn got to open some early birthday presents from Aunt Jennifer and Aunt Connie…she loved tearing into the packages!
