About a month after Gwynn was born, we started planning another Carney Family Vacation to Gwynn’s Island, Virginia. We knew that we had to take Gwynn to see her island and we hope that we can continue this trip at least every 2 years!
This is the house we stayed at during our trip. It was on the Eastern side of the island on the Chesapeake Bay with the Eastern Shore of Virginia visible on a clear day. We were right on the beach which was so nice!
There were a few fishhawk nests in the trees along the beach.
The sunrises were very beautiful, although Daddy never saw one.
Daddy did manage to take this panoramic shot so you have an idea what our view was like.
