Playing with Emerson

We went out to eat with Brandon, Abbie, and Emerson.  After dinner we went to see the fish. Gwynn and Emerson had so much fun looking at the fish. Gwynn’s favorite part was feeding them Cheerios!*

*Not pictured – the sign saying “Do not feed fish”

They loved to point out the fish to one another.

Emerson’s balance is pretty good. He ended up walking a good ways back to his mommy and daddy’s car.

Gwynn was so excited when the fish would eat the cheerios.

Open space + Gwynn = lots of mommy and daddy yelling out “Come back Gwynn!”

Steady as he goes.

It’s summertime!!!

We decided to celebrate the start of summer with some Summer Snow from the Chelsea Sno Shack!

Gwynn loved the shaved ice so much…we will definitely be going back throughout the summer. Every time Luke tasted it he made an awful face, but then loved it.  I guess it was too cold for him at first!

Random pictures from the iPhone

Gwynn had swim day at daycare…this was her all ready to go in the morning!
Since Gwynn’s birthday is in July, they celebrated early at daycare. They also combined Gwynn and Luke’s birthdays since Luke doesn’t know any better.  I got them Mickey and Minnie cupcakes for the big day.  You wouldn’t believe the amount of toys they came home with!  Every child at daycare gets to pick something from the “birthday store” to give to them as a gift.  We are saving some of the toys for their actual birthdays!
Gwynn put her baby in time out for hitting Luke.  What actually happened was Gwynn used the baby as a weapon on Luke…I think the wrong person went to time out!
Sleepy baby.
Gwynn brought Mommy a tray of food, then ate it all herself!
After Grace and Kate’s dance recital…
Mommy’s friend from work gave the kids some hats…
Pirate hat for Gwynn.
Another sleepy baby.
Taking pink kitty for a ride…she has to make sure she was buckled in!
We went for a run at a local high school and Mommy shared some water with Gwynn.  The water spilled all down her shirt, so we had to take it off.  Then Gwynn drove us home. :-)
Bath time!!

Gwynn around the house

Gwynn was playing around in the living room and turned around her chair so she could play with it. Daddy decided to snap some cute pictures.

Jeremy and Julie’s Wedding

Daddy’s brother got married this weekend and we took the whole family up to Huntsville to see. Daddy was a groomsman in the wedding.

We were on the top floor of our hotel. With two crazy kids it made us a bit nervous.

Gwynn making a silly face. We had lots of those this weekend.

At the rehearsal dinner…Gwynn enjoyed finishing off Luke’s pouch.

This is a pretty common face for daddy when he’s trying to keep ahold of Luke.

Then, Gwynn and her newfound friend ran around the lobby while Luke tried to avoid getting run over.

Brandon and Abbie made the trip to Huntsville too. Emerson stayed home so they could enjoy some time together.

It was the best wedding food daddy has ever had – but the chicken was still a bit too much for a plastic fork.

No, pop isn’t taking this picture himself, he’s just trying to get Luke to look at the camera.

Julie was one of the few females that Luke would let hold him…that only lasted a few seconds though.  He soon started screaming for Mommy again.

Gwynn (and Daddy) eventually needed to head to bed…it was a busy weekend!

Funny story. Gwynn was playing with the stroller when Daddy walked into the other room. After only a few moments we all heard her scream. Somehow she managed to get the strolled wrapped around her. We, as competent parents, did the right thing and got it off of her – after we snapped a picture.
