- Gwynn can put together 3 word sentences like “I want Mickey” or “I want juice” or even “Saban’s a genius.” She’s even started saying some 4 word sentences like “Mommy, I want ___.” She now calls Luke “Guke.” Her monkey lovey she sleeps with is now known as “gunkey.” She pretty much let’s us know anything she wants using her words (her vocabulary is amazing).
- She’s still pretty obsessed with all things Mickey Mouse. She can name all the characters and kind of say “clubhouse” when we show her that picture.
- Gwynn also really loves flowers! Everyday after school she has to run to all the flowers in Mrs. Ouida’s yard and look at them. Then she does the same thing in our yard when we get home. She’ll scream “flower” when we’re walking through the neighborhood or driving in the car and she sees them. It’s so cute!
- Gwynn somehow learned what the moon is. One day while we were playing outside she looked up and said “moon!” and pointed to the moon. We’re not sure where she came up with that one.
- She’s not into hitting much anymore. It’s usually just when we take something from her that she really wants or when she’s trying to get our attention.
- Gwynn still loves her brother, but gets really mad when he touches anything of hers. She’s even tried to pick him up and move him away from her toys (he’s a little too heavy for that though). We’re still working on sharing. She’s started to play really rough with him and loves to wrestle…we have to tell her to be gentle!
- She weighs about 27 or 28 pounds and still wears the same size diapers as Luke (size 4). She’s wearing 18-24 month and 2T clothes.
- Her eating is still great…now she just wants to dip everything in “keckup” (ketchup).
- She LOVES to play outside. Everyday after school she wants to go in the backyard and play. Her favorite things to do are play with balls and paint with water. We need to get some sidewalk chalk to draw with…I think she’d love that! She is not a happy camper when it’s raining out!!
Only 2 more months and our baby girl will be 2!!!
