For some reason this year we didn’t get around to going to Zoolight Safari until after Christmas day, which is fine since it’s still Christmas time.
We met Brandon, Abbie and Emerson at their house before heading to the zoo.
Gwynn always likes playing with new toys.
Ready for a paper route.
Luke wasn’t quite sure what to do (or how to sit) but if his sister was doing it he wanted to, too.
Ready to go into the zoo. Bundled up big time.
With two kids at this age you just have to take what you can get when getting pictures.
Luke getting a bit antsy.
Gwynn used to hate carousels. She still doesn’t love them (which is why she’s in daddy’s arms) but she’s getting better.
She will even smile for a moment.
Emerson walking with his daddy.
I wonder how many girls walked by that and thought their boyfriends set this up. Nice one, zoo.
Christmas light gator.
Mazel tov!
Emerson may have gotten into some of daddy’s cough medicine.
Hat hair.
It’s very hard to get mommy and Luke to take pictures with both prepared to smile.
Emerson’s first selfie.
About as good as we can hope for.
Luke thought the flash was a little bright.
Playing with the fake snow.
Snow is quite difficult to actually catch.
Ready to go.
