Visiting JP

Daddy’s friend Nathanael came to town this weekend for his birthday and brought Maggie and their son Jonathan (whom daddy calls JP because “it just feels right”).

Gwynn was a bit quiet early on around all the new people while JP was going full blast.

JP is definitely a smiler.

Gwynn was contemplating the meaning of life. I think.

Once we went inside so they could crawl around she really let it all out.

JP likes to ham it up for the camera.

Gwynn may or not be a bully. Just look at her expression.

I’d like them to reenact this picture in about 20 years with some red solo cups in their hands.

JP is questioning what we’re doing while Gwynn calls for a diet coke.

As JP wonders what’s going on Gwynn is on the move. Again.

I figured if we had a bad picture of Gwynn we could put a bad picture of JP too.

DSC_5763

Gwynn thoroughly enjoyed getting all up in JP’s bidness.

Looks like JP has had enough and is going on the offensive.

“What’s this guy doing taking pictures of me?”

Gwynn can pull up on anything and can stand for 10+ seconds at a time and has actually taken a step or two. JP isn’t there yet so he’s decided here to use Gwynn as a standing aid.

If not for Maggie we would have had a big pile of babies and tears.

DSC_5783

Like at home Gwynn kept trying to crawl over to some cabinets while JP was happy to play with whatever was closest to him.

DSC_5798

We’ll definitely reenact this one in about 10 years.

Gwynn isn’t picky about pacifiers. She found this one while rummaging through some of JP’s stuff. Once we put hers in her mouth she decided to crawl across the room and give it to him. She actually tried to put it in his mouth/shove it in his face. He kept it in for a moment before spitting it out when Gwynn had her back turned.

Off she goes and on he stays.
