Donut Day and T-town

Friday was National Donut Day so we took a trip to Krispy Kreme to get our free donuts.

Daddy likes the glazed, but the kids like the fancy ones.

Too cool.

We also went to Heavenly Donuts for free donuts too.

We then went down to Tuscaloosa and took a trip to the Splash Pad.

Luke forgot his sunglasses.

Mid-afternoon snack.

The boys relaxing.

" I need my $&^@ sunglasses!"

Silly kids.

Back and Grandma and Pop's Luke got to play with He-Man toys. Grandma has a lot. It was like taking a trip back to the 1980s.

He-Man in his rocking chair.

Luke tuckered out.

Eating on the couch? Yes please!

Our new favorite game

We've moved on from Go Fish and War and can now play Sorry! with the kids (Gwynn mostly).

Gwynn is legitimately hard to beat.

She's quite formidable. She knows strategy and everything.

Luke... not so much.

McWane

We made another trip to McWane Center to see the Hall of Heroes and to see an Imax movie.

First we stopped by the kids area to get a little wet.

Hulk smash!

Trying to look intimidating.

Ready for the movie!

Grace and Kate came to visit!

Grace and Kate spent the night and the kids had so much fun! First, we made cookies...

Then, we ate the cookies...

Next, we played with the new sprinkler...

Popsicles are always a hit!

We played with sidewalk chalk next and thanks to Pinterest we had some ideas of things to draw.

Gwynn drew this all by herself!

Oak Mountain

Uncle Jack and the gang spent the weekend camping at Oak Mountain and we dropped by Sunday to visit and have some fun.

First we stopped at the petting zoo.

All smiles with the goat.

Luke is surprisingly the sassiest one in this picture.

Overly aggressive peacock.

Playing in hammocks.

It was a short walk down to a small beach.

Cousins.
