Gwynn had BEAR Day at her school today. BEAR stands for "Be Excited About Reading." They got to bring teddy bears to school, wear PJs, have bear-themed snacks, and even Mimi got to go read with Gwynn.

Slide of Death
Tuscaloosa is home to the slide of death. The slide isn't really dangerous, but getting up there certainly is.
Hard to believe this thing is open to the public.
Daddy does not have proper footwear for this.
We made it!

Happy Birthday Grandma
We made a trip to Tuscaloosa for Grandma's birthday.
We ate at Cypress Inn - our favorite "fancy" restaurant in town.
That's a 65, not an 85.

The Barnyard
We took a trip with the Carney cousins to the Barnyard in Tuscaloosa.
It's like a farm worker fantasy camp. You pay them money and then get to feed their animals for them.
Yeehaw!
Everyone has their own bunny.
Luke loves rats apparently.
This chicken looks like he has been married several times and has a distrust of foreigners.
A llama giving us the stinkeye.
Time for a tractor ride.
Twinsies.
New this year - a pool with some jumping platforms.
Pretty brave for a soon to be 2nd grader.
More quality time with rodents after swimming.
