Aubrey, Jack, and Aunt Connie

Aubrey, Jack, and Aunt Connie came down from Pennsylvania for a visit during spring break. We met them at the airport with signs and smiles.

Luke was excited about making a stop at Steel City Pops.

Ave Maria Grotto

The kids had never been to the Ave Maria Grotto in Cullman, so we decided to take a trip up there. 

Gwynn was nice enough to share a pair of her sunglasses with Luke...

Luke wanted to be held the entire time. Daddy would have none of that.

We walked through the Stations of the Cross to this chapel. It was so pretty. 

Lunch in Columbiana

We opened some more Easter presents before we headed to Columbiana for lunch at Aunt Sherry and Uncle Kenny's house.

We went to mass at Our Lady of the Valley. After mass, they had an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.

Egg Hunt at the Library and Dyeing Eggs

There's no shortage of egg hunts around Easter. The local library has an egg hunt that we've been to before, so we figured, "why not give the kids more sugar and see what happens?"

Gwynn is already fired up.

Luke is so excited he can't contain himself.

Luke did the hunt for little kids and did great. Only about 3-4 kids were trampled under his feet.

Luke found the golden egg.

Sadly, he found all the eggs he could.

Now it's Gwynn's turn. 

Gwynn's hunt was a blur, so here we fast forward to them checking on their loot.

"Pretty cool, eh?"

We came back home and decided to dye some eggs. Gwynn thought they stunk.

She was a trooper and decided to taste one... big mistake.
