Thanksgiving in Tuscaloosa
We went down to Tuscaloosa on Tuesday and spent 6 days there for Thanksgiving. Aunt Jennifer came to town too and Uncle Jack and family came down from Birmingham as well. It was so nice to have everyone together!
Luke enjoyed taking a nap on Aunt Jennifer.
Gwynn loved playing outside with Grandma.
Look at those cheeks! (Notice the matching “Woods and Water” shirts too).
“So you’d like a loan? Um, not with that credit score.”
A brief respite from the chaos to watch tv.
Gwynn loves ice cream, but doesn’t quite understand she can eat the cone too.
We’re not sure if she’s excited about the game she’s holding or the fact that she’s wearing her cousin Grace’s shoes.
Gwynn looking guilty.
“I swear if you have the old maid…”
“I feel a brain freeze coming on”
Something funny was just out of frame.

Don’t cry over spilt milk
Daddy made a B-I-G mess in the kitchen when he was getting Gwynn some milk for lunch. He got milk all over the cabinets, floor, himself, Mommy, and Gwynn.
Daddy wanted to blame Gwynn, but it was really all his fault.
It got everywhere. Gwynn was quite surprised.
“Oh no, I’m going to have to change my clothes!”
Daddy cleaning up his mess.

Thanksgiving at Aunt Sherry’s
We went to Sherry and Kenny’s for an early Thanksgiving dinner. Luke got to meet some family members he hadn’t met yet…unfortunately, he slept through most of the evening!
Gwynn loved playing with the remote (nothing new there…).
She had the best time playing with Uncle Jeremy!
Not sure what’s going on here.
She loved playing with (soon-to-be “Aunt”) Julie too! :-)
Gwynn really enjoyed playing with all the kids. We loved her and Max’s matching outfits!
We’ve got to get her some matchbox cars.
I think Uncle Jeremy’s getting the hang of this baby holding thing!
Of course Gwynn found the swing.
So sleepy.
Fun at Kate’s 4th birthday party
We went to the Carney house to celebrate cousin Kate’s 4th birthday party and Gwynn had a lot of fun.
The theme was pirates as there’s some sort of pirate cartoon the kids like to watch these days.
Even Luke got into the act.
The eye patch was a bit much.
They have a cardboard house that the kids color and Gwynn absolutely loved it. We need to get one for her.
“Arrghh, I’ve lost me depth perception matey!”
Playing nice with some friends.
“Cheeeeese”
Pirate ship cake.
Luke couldn’t get a nap in with all the hootin’ and hollerin’.
A little apprehensive about the slide.
“Let’s go again!”
Smiling for the camera.
Also smiling.
The birthday girl is going to have sore cheeks tomorrow from all the smiling.
