Trick or Treat!

We had such a great time trick or treating this year!  Gwynn really got the concept of going door to door for candy which was so much fun.  Uncle Jack, Grace, Kate, and their friend James Michael came to our neighborhood to trick or treat…we had a blast!

Chelsea Park Fall Festival

Chelsea Park Elementary School had their annual Fall Festival tonight.  We were excited to go because Gwynn was old enough to enjoy some of the games and food that they have.  Mommy was excited to go to see some of her old friends (she transferred from Chelsea Park to a new elementary school this year).

This is where Luke spent the entire evening…he was quite content.

Gwynn loved picking out a lollipop!

She really loved eating the lollipop!

She also had her first taste of fried apple pie and it was definitely a hit (with her and mommy).

Gwynn didn’t really understand the concept of “The Duck Pond.” Mommy tried for about 5 minutes to get Gwynn to grab a duck, then she gave up.

She did put the duck back in the “pond.”

Mommy really wanted to do the cake walk, but Gwynn just wanted to run away!

We can’t believe that next year we’ll have 2 little ones to chase after at the Fall Festival…Gwynn was hard enough to keep up with! :-)

Stickers!

Gwynn had a Fall Party at daycare on Wednesday and she brought a treat bag home that had star stickers all over it.  She picked up the bag and started taking the stickers off and sticking them to her face and in her ears…we don’t know where she learned that!

Then she started sticking them on Luke and Daddy!

Since Gwynn loves stickers so much, I decided that we’d work on her fine motor skills a little more today with a Halloween craft! 

She was concentrating so hard on getting the stickers off the sheets.

She had to share a sticker with Luke again! He wasn’t too happy about it.
