Mommy took the kids to Tuscaloosa while daddy stayed back home. While looking for things to do we found out that Tuscaloosa has a splash pad that only opened this spring.
The kids loved it. Pop came along to document it.
The splash pad looks to be at the location of an old pool. It’s a good way to repurpose the space.
They even had a lifeguard helping kids down the slide.
Mommy tried to avoid getting too wet.
Gwynn, on the other hand, got very wet.
Luke liked stepping over the railing that separated the water from the concrete.
They had a big plane that sprayed water from its wings and propellers.
One of the interesting things is that the water would shut off every half hour or so and a lifeguard would have to go cut it back on my moving in front of a motion detector.
Luke may not like water quite as much as his sister, but he enjoys it plenty.
Gwynn waiting on another bucket of water to land on her head.
Posing.
Water everywhere!
The kids took a snack break under the umbrellas.
Getting’ comfy.
Maybe a little too comfy.
Okay… too comfy.
