Pop asked us to come down to Tuscaloosa because he had something for the kids to do that would require them to wear clothing we didn’t mind getting dirty. Well, there’s nothing dirtier than dirt itself and that’s what the kids ended up playing with.
The aforementioned big pile of dirt. Their job: fill in holes in Pop and Grandma’s yard.
Gwynn seemed to enjoy the manual labor.
Dig dig dig.
Daddy even got to drive the mower and haul the dirt.
Luke took his bucket full of dirt over to the holes in the yard that needed filling. We’re not sure why he put the bucket on his head on the walk back.
There’s plenty of room in that wheelbarrow.
Teamwork.
Mommy driving the mower.
“How many loads we got left boss?”
Flower picking break.
“You take that back and fill it up again. Only 73 more trips till we’re done.”
Gwynn has no time to pose for pictures.
