Mimi gave tickets to the circus to Gwynn for Christmas. She had never been before. Mommy hadn’t been in a long time either. Daddy used to go every year until about middle school.
Gwynn didn’t know what to think at first.
Once they paraded everyone out she was mesmerized.

She especially loved the animals.
Some fancy jump roping by the clowns.
A wooly mammoth. Or more precisely, an Asian elephant wearing a costume.
Gwynn enjoying a $135 slushy.
She got a bit antsy before intermission.
Daddy was the only one willing to wear the hat. It’s what the cotton candy came in.
No matter how many times you see this wheel of death it’s always fascinating.
Gwynn saying cheese without averting her gaze.
Mimi was more excited than Gwynn while daddy was texting friends to let them know there was a former Bama QB sitting next to us.
Just some folks clowning around.
The always popular elephants.
A big parade.
We were pretty sure this guy was going to get eaten during this part. A few tigers were not in a good mood.
Grandma and Pop kept Luke while the rest of us went to the circus. He had a great time.
“Hahahaha… I’m in Gwynn’s seat and she can’t do anything to stop me!”
Once we got back Luke enjoyed wearing the big hat.
Gwynn enjoying sitting in her brother’s car seat.
… it’s a bit big.
