Dance and Date Night!

Gwynn and Daddy were all dressed up for the Daddy Daughter Dance at Gwynn's school. Gwynn really did not want to wear that bow.

This was right after I told her "one more picture and you can take the bow out."

I managed to get a few more...

While Daddy and Gwynn were at the dance, Mommy and Luke went on their own date. Luke's favorite restaurant of course...

Five Guys!

Then we walked down to Academy...

Legos!

Mommy had the kids all to herself today, so we decided to head to the Galleria. We heard there were lego displays, but it was so much better than we imagined!

They even had areas set up where kids could build!

The main event was getting to build their very own Statue of Liberty! We waited in line for over an hour for this...

So...they really just got a bag of legos, but this Statue of Liberty set brought them hours and hours of entertainment at home.

Cookie Time!

Let's be honest. The Girl Scouts is a cookie distribution ring that happens to go camping sometimes.

Well, time to get ready to sell some cookies.

Organizing the cookies.

New this year: S'mores

Heading out into the neighborhood to sell some cookies.

Daddy did the heavy lifting.

Rodeo!

We made another trip to the rodeo. Third time's a charm.

The bulls and cowboys are secondary to the food/candy.

Space and Rocket Center

One of the nice things about having a membership to the McWane Center is that we can also get into other science museums, including the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.

First we had Mexican food for lunch. Luke pretended the crayons were rockets.

Gwynn entertaining Aunt Julie.

Kiddos outside with a statue.

Goofballs.

This is a very important invention.

Better... I guess?

Daddy showing either a cute picture or a silly meme.

Testing a sound amplifier.

Daddy under a rocket.

Daddy and Uncle Jeremy did the G force ride and quickly remembered that they're not so young anymore.

Now this one was a little less nausea-inducing.

Luke enjoying the hands on activities.

Pretending to be astronauts.

Uncle Jeremy explaining how important O rings are.

Kiddos on a ride for kiddos.

She needs a smaller suit.

Afterwards we went to a hockey game. Fun stuff.

Baskin Robbins!

Back at Uncle Jeremy's house discussing important stuff.
