Zoolight Safari

We went to Zoolight Safari at the Birmingham Zoo twice this year…once with Brandon, Abbie, and Emerson (when we forgot our camera!) and once with Grandma, Pop, Aunt Jennifer, Aunt Michelle, Uncle Jack, Grace, and Kate (where Pop had his camera thank goodness!).

Christmas Eve with Grammy

We went to Grammy’s house on Christmas Eve.

Gwynn has mastered cheesing for the camera.

Gwynn obviously gets her big smile from daddy.

Gwynn threw away her trash without being asked. Problem is, she’ll sometimes throw stuff away that isn’t trash.

Gwynn opened one of her presents a day early. She’s impatient that way, just like her mother.

Gwynn really is a great big sister. She’ll offer Luke a pacifier and/or blanket if he’s upset and she’ll hand him a bottle at times too.

She looked to be doing a good job keeping the bottle in his mouth.

….or so we thought.

The Noons came to visit!

The Noons came to town and dropped by the house.

Gwynn isn’t so sure about this guy yet.

Gwynn isn’t a big fan of bows, which is unfortunate because without them people think she’s a boy even if she’s wearing a pink shirt and pink shoes.

Today we went a little overboard.

Santa in our neighborhood!

The local fire department gets Santa to come by our neighborhood each year. We decided to take Gwynn over to check it out.

We nearly missed it as it was about a 1/2 mile walk to the intersection Santa stopped at.

Gwynn is just out of her mind excited.

“Can we go back now?”

Not much emotion out of Luke either.
