Better late than never…Happy Easter!

We had some Easter/9 month pictures taken of Gwynn.  Here are some of our favorites!

10 months old

• 10 months have FLOWN by!  In only 2 short months, Gwynn will be ONE!!
• She is still the happiest, easiest baby.  She'll sleep from 7:30pm-6:30am on weekends and we have to wake her at 6:00am during the week. She puts herself to sleep for naps now, which is so nice!
• Gwynn is standing on her own for about 5-10 seconds at a time (if she's in the mood).  We have a sectional couch and we've seen her walk from one section to another (in the corner) by taking one or two steps.  She's still a little shaky though.
• She is drinking out of a straw now! It's so much easier to go out to eat and order her a kid's water instead of having to pack something for her.
• She loves to eat anything we are eating, but her favorites are: cinnamon rolls (minus the icing), pancakes, watermelon, cantaloupe, banana, muffins, biscuits, french fries, crackers, and pretty much any baby food.  The only baby food she's refused so far is "Spring Vegetables with Brown Rice."
• She is waving all the time!  It is so sweet when we say bye to her and she'll wave back now!
• Gwynn is clapping too, but she's a little confused about it.  She'll take her right hand and slap the top of her left hand...we'll have to work on that some more! 

Gwynn’s favorite TV Show

If you know Mommy and Daddy, you know we love “The Price is Right.” It is becoming Gwynn’s favorite show too.  We DVR it everyday so we can watch it on the weekends.  Gwynn’s favorite part is when they spin the big wheel!

Gwynn’s getting so BIG!

She loves her elephant from Aunt Jennifer when she’s sleeping!

She definitely let’s us know when she’s finished with her bottle.

Here’s her new toy from Grandma and Pop.  She’s supposed to walk behind it, but she prefers to put toys in and take toys out of the front compartment.

Daddy loves to build things and Gwynn LOVES to knock them over!

Gwynn got a balloon when we went out to eat one night…she loved playing with it.

Kate’s Dance Recital

Cousin Kate had a dance recital tonight.  She looked precious, but was a little shy when it came to the dancing part of the recital! 

All smiles when it was over! 

After the recital, we went to Mexico Lindo to eat…we had a great time!

Getting new carpet installed

Since we’ve moved in, we’ve needed new carpeting in our house.  After getting our tax check this year we finally did it!  Pop came up for the installation and we ended up sitting in our front living room for hours and hours while the guys installed it.  It was a lot of fun (note the sarcasm??).  

Gwynn did enjoy the extra time with the iPhone and iPad though!

Even with all of the noise, she still managed to get a quick nap.

Spring Program

Gwynn’s daycare had their Spring Program tonight.  We had the best time hanging out with Gwynn’s friends and their parents. 

The festivities started with “The Sunshine Singers” singing songs and saying their memorized bible quotes.

Gwynn loved watching her friends perform (she was a little too young to participate).

Next, we went inside to watch a video of pictures taken throughout the year.  I have to admit, I teared up a little watching this video!

Then it was the big art show outside followed by dinner from Momma Goldberg’s…yum!!

What a fun evening!!
