Gatlinburg Day 5

Another trip to Gatlinburg and another trip to the Aquarium of the Smokies. This time it was the kids and Aunt Julie and Mommy as Uncle Jeremy and Daddy went on a hike in the 17 degree weather. 

They had a WW2 section.

Daddy was very disappointed to see Gwynn holding FDR's hand.

Gatlinburg Day 4

We can't go to Gatlinburg without a trip to a pancake house. We like this one because they make a bear out of the pancakes.

Gatlinburg Days 2 and 3

One of the many things we love about Gatlinburg is that Uncle Kenny gets up early and gets doughnuts for everyone. They're a hit with the kids.

This was the payoff for all that hiking - a nice waterfall.

Gwynn, being a daredevil, hiked halfway up the waterfall trail before Daddy could catch up with her.

Luke was ready for a break from walking and Daddy was ready for a break from carrying Luke.

Aunt Julie and Gwynn hiked a little more and got to see this cool old cabin.

Heading into "The Island" for lunch and some shopping.

Daddy was the official scooper of the cabin since he ate so much of the ice cream.

Luke ate half his body weight in it.

At least some of it got in his belly.

Gatlinburg Day 1

Time for our annual post-Christmas Gatlinburg family trip!

This year the kids got to use their new Paw Patrol headphones.

We made it! What a view.

The kids were excited to be out of the car.

Once we got settled Uncle Jeremy and Daddy went to Baskin-Robbins to buy the largest amount of ice cream they're allowed to sell to the public.

Girls brunch and shopping with Aunt Jen. So excited that Gwynn gets to share in the shopping tradition now! 

After shopping and brunch we headed over to Mimi's house to exchange presents.

Gwynn was THRILLED to get the game watch she wanted!
