Gwynn has a storybook Bible that she usually loves to read (she calls it her “Jesus Book”). On this particular night she was not interested in it…
We had a long talk and I’m happy to say, now she loves Jesus again. :-)

This makes for really fun evenings trying to put Luke to bed and really fun mornings when he wakes up at 5 or 5:30 and is ready to play.
For the past three years, our church has held an Italian Food Festival. We have had the pleasure of attending every year! This year, Grandma, Pop, and Aunt Jen joined us…we all had so much fun!
Pretty sure the kids favorite part was getting to ride on the school bus…
We went straight for the food once we got there. The line for the food was ridiculous, but thankfully they had lots of food outside to hold the kids over until we got them dinner.
I love how Gwynn is finishing Dippin’ Dots while Grandma holds her cotton candy…reaaaal healthy eating going on.
Pretty sure Aunt Jen didn’t get to eat with that boy in her lap…
After dinner, we headed over to play some games. The kids LOVED it.
Maybe next year someone will try the Grape Stomp.
We had such a great time at the Festival and can’t wait to go back next year! The food was great, music was wonderful, and the company was even better!!
Worn out after a long day…
After lunch in Tuscaloosa we headed to Columbiana for an Easter egg hunt at the Rush’s.
Mimi helping Luke with his basket.
Last year Luke wasn’t able to do much in terms of getting eggs, but this year is a different story.
Getting instructions.
Examining one of their eggs.
“I may have found one”
Fun with pop rocks.
Looks like they’ve got all their eggs.
“Eggs thataway!”
“Get your hand out of my basket if you want to keep those fingers”
Gwynn explaining to Daddy and Uncle Jeremy what she found.
These weren’t exactly the hardest eggs to find.
Gwynn making sure Luke found everything.
Check it out!
“Mmmm”
Explaining to daddy why she should get to eat everything now.
Gwynn mooning somebody.
The kids visiting some real bunnies.
Feeding them carrots was fun to watch.
They’d hold out the carrots and then drop them as soon as the rabbits tugged on them.
They preferred carrots to the straw Gwynn tried to give them.
Playing on the playset. They didn’t quite get how to use this particular part.
